ABOUT ECZEMA

Eczema, sometimes referred to as atopic dermatitis, causes itchy skin that is red, warm and tender.2

Signs and symptoms can vary from one person to another. Eczema affects people of all ages but is primarily seen in children. Approximately 30 million Americans are living with atopic dermatitis.3

Eczema typically affects the insides of elbows, backs of knees and the face. However, it can cover most of the body. This condition tends to flare up when the person is exposed to certain triggers. Triggers are substances or conditions that worsen symptoms, such as dry skin, irritants, allergens, emotional stress, sweating, and infections.2
